- Santiago Works for the Crystal Merchant
- Santiago Meets The Englishman and Learns about The Alchemist
- Santiago Meets His True Love
- Santiago has some good ideas for the Crystal Shop so the Crystal Merchant hired him so he can get money for his trip. The Crystal Merchant was turning down Santiago's dream to go to Egypt because of his own experience. Santiago worked for him for over 11 months and then in the end the Crystal Merchant approved of Santiago's dream and supported him to leave and find his treasure.
- Santiago Meets The Alchemist
- Santiago meets the Englishman that is going to take him to the desert on his caravan. The Englishman was very interested in the Alchemist, taught Santiago who he was, and where he could find him. While riding the caravan they talked about the Alchemist, what he can do, and why Santiago wanted to go to the desert.
- The Alchemist Helps Santiago on his Journey
- When the caravan got to the Oasis, Santiago was asking people who were getting water from a well where he can find The Alchemist. Nobody knew until he saw this one girl and his eyes lit up. He met Fatima his true love and she knew where to find The Alchemist.
- Santiago Finds his Treasure and Goes Back to Fatima
- Santiago had a vision that the Oasis would be attacked because of the birds that fell. A strange man came on a horse and asked Santiago why did he read the flight of the birds. Then the man told him if he is alive tomorrow to come to see him down South, the man rode away, and that was when Santiago met The Alchemist.
- Santiago and The Alchemist travel to find the Pyramids and go through some obstacles along the way. They go through a war and Santiago had to learn how to turn into the wind so he can save his own life. The Alchemist leaves Santiago since he isn't too far from the Pyramids and Santiago is now an Alchemist.
- Santiago didn't find the treasure at the Pyramids instead he went back to the abandoned Church and dug there until he found the treasure. The treasure was where he was sleeping the whole time. The King knew that and that's why there were things left behind like the gold with the monk. Santiago then goes back to Fatima.
