  • The Doctor notices Lady Macbeth is sleepwalking with a candle in her hands, He begins to notice blood that never got washed off from her hands and it alarms him. He watches with the Gentlewoman a few nights in a row, as Lady Macbeth sleepwalks.

  • Malcom discusses about their plan with the Scottish Lords to invade the castle that Macbeth has fortified , this plan involves disguising the army to make it seem smaller then what it is. They want to overwhelm Macbeth to make him lose.
  • Within the castle, Macbeth blusteringly orders that banners be hung and boasts that his castle will repel the enemy. A woman’s cry is heard, and Seyton appears to tell Macbeth that the queen is dead.
  • Outside the castle, the battle commences. Malcolm orders the English soldiers to throw down their boughs and draw their swords.
