LETTER TO THE GOD

- Once there lived a hardworking and god loving farmer named Lencho. His house sat on a crest of a low hill. He lived with his wife and children.
- I am so worried about the crops . The only thing they needed is a downpour or atleast a shower
- As Lencho predicted the rain , it began to fall . Lencho and his wife felt very happy.
- These are not raindrops falling from the sky , they are new coins. The big drops are 10 cent pieces and the small ones are 5s.
- Yes , you are right....
- Suddenly, a strong wind began to blow and hailstones began to fall along with the rain and destroyed lencho's corn field.
- A plague of locusts would have left more than this the hail has left nothing. This year we will have no corn.
- All through the night, Lencho thought only of his one hope : the help of god. So decided to write a letter to god asking for help.
- God my situation is very bad now so please help me by sending 100 pesos in order to sow my field again and to live until the crop comes.
- POST BOX
- Lencho posted the letter . when the post man saw the adress on the envelope he bagan to laugh and gave the letter to postmaster .
- Post office
- After seeing the address the postmaster also laughed but suddenly he turned into serious by seeing the faith in god. He decided to collect money and he sent 70 pesos to Lencho as a reply letter from god.
- Lencho became angry when he counted the money . god could not have made a mistake. So,he again wrote a letter .
- Post office
- God: Of the money that i asked for, only 70 pesos reached me. Send me the rest,but don't send it through the mail because the post office employees are a bunch of crooks.
