Storyboard Description

Storyboard Text
- In the beginning, only darkness and water covered the earth.
- Then suddenly lightning struck the waters from above. This was the first light to illuminate the world.
- The sea began to dry up, and out of the lightning bolt came forth a ball of fire. A fire spirit by the name of Azar.
- Meanwhile on land, the last tears of a branch fell on the earth.
- When the first drop hit the ground the rain stopped, and out, emerged a river spirit by the name of Akua.
- So, it was out of Fire and water that the earth was created. Azar and Akua the 2 brothers formed the sun and earth to function as 1.
- Akua brought forth a forest, and all the living things in it.
- All was well, everyone was joyous, from the flying fairy's, to jumping deer.
- As a symbol of gratitude, every spring, the fairy's and fauna gathered together, and celebrated by the waterfalls to thank Akua for brining flowing abundance to the forest.
- But deep in the darker part of the forest, one being was not happy.
- Azar, Akua's brother was filled with jealousy. For he had been the one to start this world anew, but it was Akua that was loved and praised by all, while he was not.
- Azar growled furiously, for the laughter of the forest people had awoken him from his slumber.
- He flew to Akua, and out of anger threatened to burn the forest, for he was not getting the praise he deserved.
- Akua's eyes burned with anger at his brother's threat, his back bristled, banishing Azar from the forest.
- Azar was banished far away from the forest into the mountains.
- Later that night Akua said that if Azar had a change of heart, he could return to the forest to live in peace with the rest of them.
- That night Azar watched his enemy fly away alone, he would not be having a change of heart now, or anytime soon.
- Consumed by jealousy, Azar swore he would burn the forest and defeat Akua.
- 30 years had passed in his exile, and Azar flew rapidly ready to destroy the forest.
- Azar flew over the forest covering every inch of the forest with his flames, destroying everything.
- Aqua defended the forest restlessly with his powers but the fire was too much.
- Azar confronted Akua and fought him, trying to weaken his power.
- Akua called out to Azar demanding him to leave his forest in peace!!
- Akua knew he was going to die if he didn't fight back, but he loved his brother and he wasn't going to harm him.
- Remember who you are Brother!
- At the strike of thunder Azar snapped out of his darkness, and remembered how he was brought forth by thunder, he was the fire spirit of this world.
- I'm not going to fight you any longer brother, I forgive you.
- That day Azar learned what it meant to forgive someone. Akua forgave Azar regardless of all the hatred and pain he'd caused.
- Today Azar and Akua rule the land together in peace. Though they may be opposites and at times they disagree, they learned to forgive one another and love each other through and through.
- And every once in a while, when the forest gets cold, the animals seek warmth by their fire spirit.
- Now anytime it's raining, and the sun is out, remember this tale. There may be an Azer in your life that's completely opposite to you, but don't hold on to that greed or it'll consume you. Learn to let go and forgive.
