Storyboard Text

  • Act 4 Scene 1
  • "He shall not live;"
  • "Who is your sister’s son, Mark Antony."
  • Act 4 Scene 1
  • "So is my horse, Octavius, and for thatI do appoint him store of provender."
  • "But he’s a tried and valiant soldier."
  • Act 4 Scene 2
  • "Judge me, you gods! Wrong I mine enemies?And if not so, how should I wrong a brother?"
  • "Most noble brother, you have done me wrong."
  • Antony and Lepidus are discussing if they agree that if they kill Lepidus's brother then they must also kill Antony's nephew.  They come upon the agreement too do so. 
  • Act 4 Scene 3
  • "And died so? ......O you immortal gods!"
  • "Cicero one?"
  • Antony and Octavious send Lepidus to the capitol to get Caesars will so they can work on changining it. Once Lepidus is gone Antony ask Octavius if he feels that Lepidus is good enough to lead with them. Octavius responds by saying he does not think he is a good enough leader to lead with them. 
  • Act 4 Scene 3
  • "Cicero is dead,"
  • "Therein our letters do not well agree.Mine speak of seventy senators that diedBy their proscriptions, Cicero being one."
  • Cassius and Brutus fled outside of Rome to gather armies. Then Cassius accuses Brutus of wrong doing him, but instead of showing weakness to their armies by arguing in front of them they decide to take it inside the tent. 
  • Act 4 Scene 3
  • "Thy evil spirit, Brutus""To tell thee thou shalt see me at Philippi."
  • Inside the tent they continue to insult one another. They then forgive one another. Eventually Cassius brings up again how angry Brutus was, then Brutus tells Cassius that Portia has died. 
  • "That tidings came—with this she fell distractAnd, her attendants absent, swallowed fire."
  • Brutus receives letter stating people that have been killed back in Rome, Cicero being one of them, he informs Cassius of this. Messala confirms that Cicero is infact dead to both Cassius and Brutus. 
  • Cassius leaves Brutus's tent for the night, and the gaurds head to sleep. Then the ghost of Caesar appears to Brutus and tells him that he will see him in Philippi. Then Brutus wakes the gaurds and tells them to get Cassius.
