- You know Mr. Summers he would want more and after all we don't want to disappoint him
- Thanks Mr. Graves
- Welcome to the lottery everyone, we will call your families head of house up to grab a slip of paper.
- Bill your up!
- At the start of the short story the "lottery" the young boys were getting ready by gathering rocks while some younger boys were stealing them. Everyone was near town square and were chatting.
- A man named Mr. Summers that runs the lottery comes on stage with a black box for the lottery as well as a man named Mr. Graves to bring a stool. The lottery starts.
- A family called the Hutchinson had come up on stage and it was there turn to take there slip, Tessie the wife had told bill her husband to do it. There slip had a black dot on it...
- THIS IS NOT FAIR< ITS NOT RIGHT!!!
- After the rest of the family opened there slip they all know that Tessie had the slip with the black dot and Bill showed it too the crowd.
- Everyone figured out that Tessie was the one with the slip with the dot and supposedly won the "lottery". Everyone got the rocks ready to sacrifice Tessie.
- Tessie was protesting and yelling saying that it was not fair but the villagers did not care and Tessie had got stoned right there and then.
