- This story starts out with two brothers. Numitor is the eldest brother and the rightful heir to the throne. Amulius is power hungery and wants to be the ruler of Alba Longa, so he kills Numitor's whole family exept his daughter Rhea Silvia. He banishes her to become a nun, so she doen't become pregnent. When the god mars see's this he gets her pregnet. When the new king finds out about this he goes into a rage.

- The little baby boy's were sent down the river, so that there is no way they will survive and Amulius won't have any competition for the throne. The she wolf finds them and gives them milk. After a shepherd and his wife raise the two boys like there own.

- When the boys grew up, they were refereed to as Romulus and Remus. They were both super strong and always did the right thing for the twins people. One day they got a group of men together and killed the evil uncle. They buried him and anointed there Grandfather Numitar the king.
- Whats Happening
- Since they both were now the rightful heris Alba Longa, one of them would one day be king. Romulus and Remus didn't want to wait for there Grandfather to die, so the set out to build there own kingdom from scratch. When they couldn't decide on which hill to build there new country on, they got into a huge fight. In the end Romulus killed his brother over something as tiny as where to build a city.
- Romulus made himself king of what he called Rome, ( Named after himself). When they went to neighboring towns asking for women and there families to join, everybody rejected. So, they came up with a plan to kidnap all the women at this big party.

- Romulus death is very mysterious. The council said that he want taken to heaven and made a god in a thunder storm. The council people were the only witnesses to this incidence. In Roman history the council usually killed the leader when he became to powerful. Do you think they killed Romulus?
