- Wait... what? Are those aliens? Am I seeing this right?
- Hey aliens, do you know why the planets are laid out the way they are? Is it because of that one thing... gravity?
- Yes. The planets are in that specific order and they are laid out the way they are because of the suns gravitational force. The Sun keeps the planets aligned with its force, causing the planets to orbit around the sun.
- Alright
- Also, another question. I saw on TV that they're planning to send a telescope up into space. Wont this gravity thing affect that?
- Yes, it will. The planets gravitational pull will redirect the telescopes path, because it will pull the telescope in once it enters the field.
- Well, We've already thought about that. We would stay away from the planets with larger and stronger forces, because they would pull them in too far. But, we would utilize the more subtle forces in order to redirect the path in the correct way.
- Sorry, one last thing.How would you plan the route in order for the gravitational field to not disrupt the path too much?
