- Have you ever wondered how the smell of a freshly baked apple pie travels through the house?The scent particles of the pie is made by cooking all the ingredients.The scent particles of the pie are highly concentrated only around the oven and most likely have a yummy scent.

- When the oven is open the particles slowly spread to parts of the house where they are less concentrated this will continue until there is an equal concentration of the pie scent particles and air particles in the house.The scent of an apple pie is able to fill a room when you release the pie cent into a room,the scent particles from inside the oven are released into the air.

- Since particles are in constant motion the scent particles begin to collide with air particles of air or pie,both are in constant motion.These movements cause the scent particles to move through the room until they are evenly dispersed among the air particles.
