Storyboard Text
- Perseus was born secretly born in a dungeon. He was born in the dungeon because Acrisios wanted a son so went to the oracle. It said his grandson would end up killing him. In horror, Acrisios locked Danae in the dungeon.
- Ordinary World
- After Acrisios found out about Perseus, he locked them up in a chest and threw them in the ocean. To their surprise, a fisherman, Dictys, pulled them out of the water. They also met the king of the island Polydectes. Polydectes took them into his and slowly fell in love with Danae.
- Ordinary World
- Polydectes wanted to marry Danae and get rid of Perseus. Polydectes said that he gave everything to Perseus but Perseusgives nothing in return. Perseus insisted that he would do anything Polydectes wished for him to do. At last, Polydectes said to bring the Gorgons head.
- I will bring you medusas head!
- Call To Adventure
- Perseus was praying to the goddess Athene. Athene said to go to the grey sisters, and they will tell him the way to the nymphs. They guard the hat of darkness and the winged sandals and knapsack for medusas head. She will give him a shield while Hermes will give him a sword.
- Allies/Helper
- As Athene said, Perseus went to the grey sisters. They were not telling him where the nymphs are, so he stole their eyeball. After some time, the grey sisters gave in and told him where the nymphs are. Perseus gave the eye to the nearest sister and fled before she could see him.
- Entering The Unknown
- When Perseus arrived, the nymphs gave him everything he needed to slay the hideous gorgon, Medusa. Which included the winged sandals, hat of darkness, a shield from Athene, and a sword from Hermes. Perseus was now ready to slay the evil monster Medusa.
