The story of Ra and Osiris
Storyboard Text
- It's a dark night at the Laburnam Villa. Mrs. White is knitting while her husband Mr. White and son Herbert are playing chess. Sergeant Major Morris arrives and tells the family his stories about his travels from when he was a soldier.
- The Monkey's Paw
- Let me tell you a story!
- Mr. White asks Morris about the Monkey's Paw. So, Morris tells the family that the Monkeys Paw is magical and can grant 3 wishes to 3 different men. Then he shows the family the paw. Mr. White really wants the paw but Morris tells him that the paw is trouble.
- Ew it looks disgusting
- It's a magical paw that can grant 3 wishes! But its trouble!
- I want that paw
- Ra thought that all children were great, but his favorite was Osiris, so he made him the pharaoh.
- I am Osiris the first pharaoh of Egypt
- Set the brother of Osiris was jealous and he killed Osiris to become the pharaoh. He dumped Osiris in the river in pieces.
- I am Set, the brother of Osiris. I have killed him because I want to be the pharaoh.
- Ra was so angry and sad that Osiris had died, he decided to make Osiris the God of the dead. Eventhough Osiris's body was put together he could not come back to life.
- I'm dead, I cannot go back to the living world. What should I do?
- I will give you a very special job. You are now the God of the dead.
- Isis was grateful for what Ra had done, but she was still very sad that her husband was dead. She could not see him anymore, and this made her very sad.
- I am Isis the wife of Osiris. I am happy Ra made Osiris the God of the dead but I will never see him again, and this makes me cry.
