- Eddie shows an excess amount of arrogance by calling out Carlton Drake, and going against what his boss and fiance told him.
- You'll pay for this Eddie.
- So Carlton Drake... what kind of shady stuff have you been up to?!
- Eddie's tragic flaw is that he is too persuasive when talking to people and can often be rude. He makes many mistakes because of this.

- Eddie gets Anne fired from her job because of his actions when talking to Carlton Drake. She leaves him because of this.
- You got me fired, Eddie!!

- Eddie's reversal of fortune is when he calls many people trying to get another job, but no one will hire him.

- The audience feels bad for Eddie because of all of his downfalls and the terrible choices that he makes.

- After Venom was separated from Eddie, Eddie realizes that they need to work together in order for things to work out.
