- We can't have anymore wars with the Natives so you can't settle the land over there!

- Sugar Act (1764)
- Please sir pay the tax for sugar I seriously need to feed my daughter

- Quartering Act (1765)
- I just took the biggest crap ever in your bathroom and it's your job to clean it up!
- Colonists were banned from settling west of the Appalachian Mountains to avoid conflict. The colonists weren't too happy about it because they felt they had the right to settle wherever they want. The colonists eventually settled that they would settle anyways.
- The Stamp Act (1765)
- Bro no now you taking it too far so no no no I ain't buying your stuff
- There is now a tax on stamps and official prints now. We gotta pay our debts.
- The British Parliament placed a tax on goods like sugar because they needed to pay the debts of the French and Indian War and decided the colonists were responsible to pay some of it.
- Declaratory Act (1766)
- This act required colonists to house the British soldiers and take care of them. Colonists believed it violated their rights.
- Townsend Acts (1767)
- You really thought you could sneak in some new taxes without us noticing, did you?
- The Stamp Act required colonists to pay a tax for stamps, newsletters, most printed materials. As a result, the colonists boycotted British goods.
- The British felt that they needed full control over the colonists, so they declared that they could pass any law they wanted.
- AAAAAAAAAAA I'M SICK OF ALL YOU COLONISTS, THAT'S IT, FROM HERE ON OUT I DO WHATEVER I WANT TO WHOEVER I WANT WHENEVER I WANT!
- The British tried to sneak in taxes on goods but the colonists caught on pretty quickly.
