- ALL ABOUT CELLS.By: Brayden Duplessis
- A Cell is Too Small to be Seen Without Magnification
- Not much Dr. Joe.
- Young Jimmy. How much do you know about cells?
- Well you see, There are 13 different things that make up a cell. They are called organelles. They help the cell to function and work.
- The 13 consists of the Nucleus, which is what controls the cell. Think of it as the president. There is also the E.R. which transports materials to help the cell grow. Think of it like the Delivery people. Like Amazon. There is also the mitochondria, which gives energy to the cell . Pretty much like a power plant.
- Then we have the cell membrane. It controls What goes in and out of the cell. Kind of like police do. We also have something called the ribosome. It is what makes the stuff that gives us energy. There is also the cytoplasm which is like land in the cell. It is what every other organelle lives in.
- We also have the Golgi Body. It is what packs and takes out all the materials from the cell. Like a delivery driver does. There is the lysosome, which is what breaks down food, waste, and other parts of the cell the may have died. Its like the garbage trucks of the cell. Then there is the vacuole, which is what stores water, waste and food. It is like a warehouse.
- As our final 4, there is the nuclear membrane, which allows things in or out of the cell. Like border control. Then there is the cell wall which gives structure and support for the cell. Like a wall around a city. Then there is chloroplast. It makes food for the cells. Like a farm. Nucleolus is the last one that we have. It makes ribosomes. It's like a factory.
- AS YOU CAN SEE YOUNG JIMMY. OUR BODY IS AMAZING. THERE ARE SO MANY WORKING PARTS THAT GO UNNOTICED MOST OF THE TIME. WE TRULY ARE A ONE OF A KIND SPECIES. AND NOW WITH THIS KNOWLEDGE, YOU WILL HELP US TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!!
