  • The vegetation deciduous forests have are quite a lot for example; sugar maple, pine, oak, passion berry, and moss

  • The animals the forest contains doesnt really have a lot of predators as you would think for example; white-tailed deer, black bear, weasel, raccoon, and wolves.
  • Oak = A deciduous tree that grows over 2000 acorns a year! These trees have a hard bark which protects them from fire and helps survive harsh winters.
  • Adaptations vegetation Pine = a coniferous tree that usually are grown in the northern hemisphere, and can be found in deciduous forests. The pine trees fallen needles will create a dense mat on forest floor to prevent other plants from growing under it.Sugar maple = A deciduous tree with beautiful red, orange, and yellow leaves. These tree lose their leaves in the autumn season. They drop their leaves prior to winter to store more water and survive the cold winter of the deciduous forest.Birch = A deciduous tree which produces a special fruit called the “samara” which releases 1 million seeds per year. Birch trees twigs and branches are flexible so that when it snows a lot they won’t break. Oak = A deciduous tree that grows over 2000 acorns a year! These trees have a hard bark which protects them from fire and helps survive harsh winters.Passion berries = Amazing plant that can with stand ups to 20 degrees Fahrenheit without serious damage.
  • Adaptations animals White-tailed deer = This mammal has long legs and strong muscle, adaptations that help them sprint up to 30mph and jump across fallen trees.Weasel = Theses creatures molt when the winter comes and are able to blend in with pure white snow which helps for the harsh winters of the deciduous forest. Black bear = This creature grows players of fur to adapt and survive in the winters of the deciduous forest.Raccoon = There fur grows thicker for the winter time just like the rest of the animals on this list but what makes it special is that its nocturnal, which is way better to be so they can avoid prey of higher tropic levels.Wolves = Just like the previous animals these animals have a thicker fur coat for the harsh winters of the deciduous forest.
