- on the 5th of janurary over 400 maori people attended a meeting infront of the busby house.
- The relationship between maori and british began in 1769 when Captain James Cook arrived in New Zealand.
- up to 500 maori had gather up to the tent that has been set up on the law next to Busby house. For the time that cheifs has hesitate to sign the treaty of waitangi.
- I think they had a tranlator and they talk about what happend after the treaty has been sign and read it out loud.After that they all sit down and wait for their turn of signing the treaty of waitangi.
