- Fundamental rights are your right to life. They allow you to have your own beliefs, opinions, and self expression

- Democratic rights allows every Canadian citizen aged 18 and older to have the right to vote and run for public office.

- Mobility rights gives every Canadian citizen the right to enter, remain, and leave Canada. As well as the right to seek work anywhere in Canada.

- Legal rights protects Canadians reasonable expectation to privacy. Meaning that no one can take away or access your personal belongings or information, and you can not be searched without clear legal reasons. These rights also ensure that you have a fair trial and they create rules that must be followed while you are arrested.
- Equality rights ensures that everyone is treated with the same respect, consideration, and dignity no matter their race, religion, sexuality, age, gender, disability, etc.
- Language education rights allows for all Canadian citizens to attend French or English schools. as well as be educated in their first language if they choose.
