Storyboard Text
- Marin's friend, Mabel, is visiting her for Christmas Break, a friend which she has avoided all contact with for 4 months after her grandfather died and she moved from California. Now, she must figure out how to make it bearable for the 3 days Mabel is there.
- After talking about Marin's disappearance, Mabel explains to Marin that she is here with a goal in mind. To bring her back to her parents house for Christmas and the rest of Winter break. However, Marin refuses, feeling that nothing would ever be the same.
- Marin and Mabel are taken to the Groundskeeper of the dorm building's lodge in the freezing winter night, where Marin finally opens up to Mabel about the past 4 months.
- As the 3rd day's morning comes closer and closer, it comes time for Mabel to leave. She leaves with a somber goodbye, as Marin realizes that she has completely wasted her chance.
- Marin contemplates and regrets her decision to not go with Mabel for the holidays. As she recognizes the familiar grip of loneliness, she hears a car park outside. She peeks out of her dorm room window and Mabel and her parents are there, where they celebrate Christmas.
