- There once lived a bird and her two new-born babies in the forest.They had a nest in tall and Mother took care day and night
- One day,There was big storm,There was Thunder lightning and rain and wind blew down many trees
- The other one landed outside a Rishi's ashram a little distance away
- The tall tree in which birds lived also came down.A big heavy branch hit the nest and kill the bird.Fortunately for the baby birds the strong wind blew the away to other side of forest
- One of them came down near a cave where gang of robbers lived
- One day ,the king of the country came to the forest to hunt.saw deer .It ran deep into the forest followed by king.soon King lost his way.
- Days passed the baby birds became big birds
- Suddenly he heard a voice cry out. Quick !Hurry up! There is someone under the tree.Come and take his jewels and his horse.Hurry or else he'll slip away.King amazed saw big brown bird.sitting on tree Near to cave where noise hear from cave
- He rode on for a long time till he came to other side of forest.very tired and he got off his horse down under the tree stood near cave.
- He quickly got on to his horse and rode away as fast as he could
- He reached to Rishi's ashram.The king tied his horse to tree sat down under the tree
- The king was amazed this one look like the other bird outside of the cave ,he said to himself loudly.You are right sir"He is my brother"
- Suddenly he heard a gentle voice.Welcome to Ashram,Sir please go inside and rest.The king look up saw a big brown bird in the tree
- The holy man smiled and said,After,One is know by the company one keeps.
- Rishi enter to ashram .welcome Sir, he said to the king.please come inside and make yourself at home.King told of the two bird how behaved so differently though they looked so alike.
