- Abram called on the name of the Lord upon his return.
- Lord, this is Abram, standing on the altar that we built for you, I am back to this land you have given to us.
- After being kicked out of Egypt, Abram and his wife & everything he had began their long journey back to the land the Lord gave them.
- Abram and Lot had to face a problem with land space due to the number of flocks, herds, tents and servants both Abram and Lot had. They both part company, Lot decided to take the eastern side of the land called Jordan while Abram was left with the western side called Canaan.
- If you go to the left, I'll go to the right; if you go to the right, I'll go to the left
- The lord said to Abram after Lot parted from him, "Look around from where you are, to the north and south, to the east and west. All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever.
- Abram went to to live near the great trees of Mamre at Hebron, There he built an altar to the LORD.
