- at some point on time I will be standing over you, as genially as possible. Your soul will be in my arms. A color will be perched on my shoulder. I will carry you gently away.
- Death is the narrator of the book thief and Is the one who will eventually carry our souls when we die.
- Rosa Meminger took Liesel Meminger and her little brother to the train where they would go on to get to their foster parents house when Liesel's little brother dies while choking .
- The last time I saw her was red. The sky was like soup, boiling and stirring. In some places it was burned. There were black crumbs and pepper, streaked across the redness.
- Death saw book thief again but this time she was at a bombing where she was with many kids but they all died but again she survived death. This time she was carrying a book.
- Death attends thefuneral. Liesel can't believe her brothers dead and tries digging to him but her mom pulls her away. Liesel picks up the book that dropped from the grave diggers coat.
- Still in disbelief, she started to dig. He couldn't be dead. He couldn't be dead. He couldn't
- Liesel and her mom board the next train to Munich to arrive at her foster parents house. But now none of them want to say that Liesel little brother Warner didn't make it.
- Idon't want to go please!!!
- Liesel gets to Himmel street and she does not want to enter the house. Liesel and her mom give their tearful goodbyes. When they get into the kitchen she grabs her suitcase with the grave diggers book inside.
