- The first stage of acquiring your drivers license is to take the knowledge test. This test will cover basic driving knowledge such as what to look out for, looking for signs, know your surroundings, learn the different signals of others on the road and understanding the important of staying calm if another driver is becoming angry with you.
- The next step after passing the knowledge test, is the complete a full year of supervised driving. You must not get into any crash, prohibition or get a ticket if you wish to do your N test as soon as possible. To prepare for your road test that you must complete to get your N, you should be driving in different weather conditions, different times of day and different terrains. All these will help you pass and become a better driver.
- To get your full license you must have your N for a total of 2 years or 24 months. This will ensure that you no longer need to N or L on the back of your vehicle, you are able to get your full license after 18 months if you are not in any at-fault crashes, if you don't get any tickets or any prohibitions.
