- Percy, Annabeth, and Tyson go on a quest to save Grover and Camp Half Blood by traveling to the Sea of Monsters and fighting monsters and along the way with three yellow duffel bags that were given to them by Hermes.
- Resolution
- After running into lots of obstacles along the way and almost dying many times, Percy and Annabeth reach the island of Polyphemus who they fight along with Tyson and Clarrise, who they find alive on the island. They leave the island on hippocampi after fighting the cyclops and saving Grover and the Golden Fleece.

- When they arrive to Miami, Florida with the fleece, Percy sends Clarisse back to camp with it. Soon, Luke captures them and fights Percy who manages to contact camp with an Iris message and trick Luke into admitting that he poisoned Thalia's tree. Chiron is rehired and saves them with the help of his relatives.
- They head back to Camp Half Blood where Thalia's tree is cured. Suddenly, Thalia was brought back to life due to the Golden Fleece doing its job too well, giving Kronos another chance to control the prophecy.
