i'll just appoint judges to fill the judiciary branch with my federalist friends.
good morning!do not go deliver the Adam's commissions. that man doesn't know what he's talking about.
morning of March 4th. **Jefferson's term begins**
good morning sir! welcome to presidency. I will not go deliver them. that man was crazy and I'm glad he's gone!
just waiting on my commission to sign and send back to be one of Adams' judges
Marbury never receives his commission.
your “rule” which is in the Judiciary Act of 1801 is not Constitutional. Adams was outta line when he wrote that commission because that’s not the president’s job to do. So, no, you don’t get to be a judge
Marbury shows up at the Supreme Court and yells at Madison
the rule is that POTUS gets to invite whoever he wants to be a judge. Adams was still POTUS when he wrote the invite. He signed it. I should get to be a judge!
judiciary review is established
any law found to be unconstitutional by SCOTUS could not stand…no matter which political party or leaders were making/enforcing them!
