- Thunderstorms can have lighting, lighting is static electricity.

- Lighting can destroy any thing that comes in its way, such as humans, houses, animals, trees, and many more
- Something else to keep you safe is never swim during a thunderstorm !! Lightning can hit the water and the electricity can go through you even though you are in the water !
- Avoid holding metal made things, like tools or a golf club because it is easier for the lighting to strike you.
- Never take cover under a tall tree! When lighting hits the top of a tree, it travles down a tree trunk, then it strikes the person under the tree!
- So I can avoid holding metal object, not take cover under a tree and not swim in any water during a thunderstorm!
