- throughout the summer cadence hangs out with the liars and starts to remember more and more about summer 14. Her and Gat like nothing ever happened and all of them apologized for not responding over the years. But everything felt weird.
- Everyone at the island seemed very sad and down. Grandfather seemed to be doing very extreme renovations to the main house on the island which has been there for years upon years, so it seemed very weird.
- After piecing very difficult puzzle pieces together cadence remembered most of what happened.
- When the rest of the family was gone the liars were drinking on the island alone. the aunts had been arguing for years about inheritance and what they will recieve after their fathers death. So to end this fighting the intoxicated liars decided to set fire to the main mansion on the island. They did it to destroy the paper work, the items the Sinclair family valued so much, the symbol that represented the selfish Sinclair family and more
- after remembering the story she told the rest of the liars that she had remembered. But Gat made it clear that she was missing something very important.
- Then Cadence made the horrifying realization that she was the only liar that survived the fire. Gat, Mirren, and Johnny had all died.
- They explained to Cadence that they came back for her and to help her remember, but that they had to go because they couldn't stay any longer.
- So the rest of the liars went to the sea and they all hugged and cried. Mirren was bawling, Johnny acting goofy as if nothing was happening, and Gat smiling with cadence in his arms.
- When is was time Gat, Johnny and Mirren lept into the sea to go back to wherever they came from forever.
