- Well, Thanks to Caesar's strong abilities as a governor and general, he managed to quash their rebellions and bring all of Gaul under Roman control.He managed to overhaul the tax system, rebuild parts of the Roman Republic, and improve the calendar.During his time as consul, Caesar passed several reforms through the Senate including:-Giving land to poor Romans-Making sure military veterans had landed after their service-A law against extortion, or threatening someone to get what you want
- He both have done acts befitting and fitting of his status. Illegal acts, forcing the public. As well as, giving land to the poor and rest.MAY HE REST IN PEACE!

- He became a consul through shady political alliance with two other Romans Politian, Crassus and Pompey.They manipulated the Senate to fill their desires. Even going to the extent of forcing the Romans Illegally through the Senate.As a consul, many of his actions were illegal. Instead of standing for trial, he went to war to take over the Republic. His lack of respect for the Senate and power-grabs made him unlikable.
