  • In 3500 BCE ,There were different cities with different rulers. There were 3 different classes as you can see, the first, second and third, and they were put in a class based on d how much land, money and power they had. The people were also dressed on how much land, money and power they had.

  • In 1700 BCE Gilgamesh was discovered and it was the first ever written story that archaeologists have actually found.
  • In 3000 BCE citie states would battle with one another, and there would be wars. The cities would select a leader and they would be in charge. Eventually, these leaders became kings.

  • In 2300 BCE Sargon was the first emperor of Mesopotamia and he ruled all of the citie states. These citie states were united.
  • ¨For I am Sargon the first and I am the first emperor of Mesopotamia and I rule all of the states.¨
  • In 1800 BCE there was the Hammurabi Code and it was made out of stone. This code was seven feet tall. These laws were very strict and had consequences and there was 282 laws in the code of Hummurabi.
