The battle of the Sea and Sky

- one day there was a black bird who didn't have any land to rest on. She restlessly flapped her wings everyday and stretched and let the wind carry her when she was#160;tired
- she had to think of a way to#160; get a surface to rest on. One day, she thought of an idea that could get what she wanted
- she said to the sea...
- The sky tells me#160;that you're a worthless body of salty water. You don't do anything but make useless waves. You can't even help me fly like the sky does
- The life in me runs deeper than the sky can ever imagine, and there is a world under my waves that is much richer than anything in the sky!
- the bird said something that made the sea very mad and angry so the sea decided to battle with the sky
- the sky says you are a good-for-nothing, and that you will one day drown me.
- and so the sea and the sky started fighting with its lightning bolts and the sea started attacking with its waves. The bird was scared#160; and flew to a safe spot out of danger
- at the end the fight the bird saw clusters of rocks and flew to it to find a humungous formation to rest on. The island today is#160;Philippines and consists more than 7 thousand islands
