- I am the mighty, brave and determined King John, I am above ALL law and nobody can stop me. I am the most powerful king in history!
- He was so determined to prove his power he even fought with the pope
- I should be the one to appoint new church members, not you! I want power over the church
- NO! NEVER! You sould not have power over us, you are the worst king that god has ever appointed. I shallhave to ask the lords and nobles!
- Many people in England were unhappy with the way King John was treating them
- Why does k-king John have t-to tax us so m-much, i can't afford a-anything
- I know he is the cruelest king ever, He even argued with the POPE!
- NO! Why should I? I do not care if the people hate me, I am the most powerful king in history - no document can restrict me.

- King John you must sign this document if you want people to like you.
- Fine! I will sign the Magna Carta, but you must all never rebel against me or I will break these laws and fight back.

- If you do not sign the Magna Carta the barons and knights will rebel and over throw you.
- The people of England now were rejoiced by the fact that King John could no longer imprison them for no reason.
- I am so glad as well as now we can afford things as King John can't tax us lots of money.
- I am so gald that the Barrons introduced Magna Carta as now we are free again and King John doesn't control us.
