- The Cold War was a mix between a nuclear arms race and an attempt to stop communism . The US's main was to stop the spread of communsism
- This was the start of the containment of Russia . This was so they didnt create a domino effect and turn its neighboring countries communist .
- On April Fourth 1949 , Nato was created, This was to create protection from the ever growing soviet union
- This was because if the Nuclear arms race
- The Nuclear arms race was the growth of both the US and Russia's Nuclear weapons. This was because of the development of the hydrogen bomb
- The Space race was a race between Russia and The US to put the first man in space and on the moon
- The takedown was a pivital moment in history because it marked the end of the iron curtain and slowed the spread of communism throughout europe
