- Ahh! My letter for Ambassador Lu of China did not arrive on time. I wrote it three months ago and he is still not receiving it. That contains our appeal with regards to the West Philippine Sea!

- Oh, our poor country! How will I protect our national territories if we do not even have weapons and technology-based war strategies? The Filipinos abroad are suffering, too, since we cannot give them faster services. My Philippines, what shall we do?
- Without technology, a Foreign Service Officer is having a hard time performing diplomacy. Communication is slower, language barrier is more difficult and the hardest of them all is I cannot control the national security, manage multilateral strategic negotiations, and monitor the effectiveness of development aid programs for the Filipinos abroad. I should address these problems to the President, tomorrow.

- Mr. President, without Technology, it is hard for us – diplomats or workers in the other field-- to do our jobs. I think it is better for our country to give more importance to the advancement of Science and Technology.
