A plant has taken me up as a part of photosynthesis and synthesized me into a longer carbon chain. I have become a part of a carbon chain muscle in an animal.
The organism I was apart of died, and is now on the ground decaying. But carbon never dies. I am now in a carbon chain, cellulose in a fallen leaf.
Hey guess what? I'm a leaf now!!
I am being carried down to the surface ocean by a stream.
I could go for a little swim:)
I've dissolved in to the surface waters ready to become apart of marine life
woooww look at how far I've come :O

The never-ending cycle by which carbon dioxide  flows out of the atmosphere into the soil as carbon via photosynthesis and green plants and then back out again via decomposition and respiration, round and round, sustaining nearly all life on the planet
