Storyboard Description

Summary: In these scenes Juliet is going through a lot. She had just finished saying goodbye to the love of her life Romeo, and now her parents are telling her that she has to marry Paris. She doesn't want to marry Paris though because she barely even knows him and doesn't love him at all. But if she doesn't marry him, her father is saying that he will disown her, which is something that she doesn't want. So now Juliet must make a difficult decision, deciding if she will marry Paris like her parents want or disobeying them and getting disowned. Explanation 1:This scene is very important to the book because it helps to show just how in love Romeo and Juliet are. When you love someone very much it can be very difficult to leave them, which is the problem that Romeo and Juliet are having. It also helps to show us why Juliet became very upset when her Mom told her that she had to marry Paris, because she had just had a very sad goodbye with Romeo. Explanation 2:This scene is very important to the book because it helps to show the relationship that Juliet has with her mom, which is that they don't get along very well.It also helps to show us that her mom doesn't really care what she wants and wants her to do what her and Juliet's dad thinks is best. Explanation 3: This scene is very important to the book because it helps to show us the relationship that Juliet has with her father and how (like her mom) her dad thinks what he and Juliet's mom want her to do is best. When in reality both of them don't really know what has really been going on in her life.
