Setting-CreteCharacters-Daedalus, Icarus, King Minos, King Minos asked Daedalus and Icarus to build him a maze but didn't tell them the use for it.

King Minos finally told Daedalus and Icarus the use for his maze, but told them they couldn't leave Crete for fear of telling people how to escape through the maze . King Minos then told them they would live at the top of his castle.
FALLING ACTION
I'm flying!!! Woo hooo!!
King Minos held Daedalus and Icarus captive and didn't let them leave. Daedalus and Icarus were treated like royalty throughout the day but were treated as prisoners through the night.
RESOLUTION
Help!!! I'm falling my wings are melting
Daedalus thought of ways to get out of "prison" and he finally thought of a way to get out of Crete. With his son's idea, He built bird wings so they could fly out of Crete. He started buildings the wings with old bird feathers and wax from a candle.
In the joy and excitement of flying. Icarus forgets his father's advice and soars too close to the sun, causing his wings to melt.
Don't fly too close to the sun, Icarus.
Icarus wings fall apart.and he plummets to his death and drowns in the sea below.
