- Okay guys let's go through what we are expected to learn in this lesson, and how learning can look like. So how will students know if they have learned what if x equals 5 in this equation 3x-4=11 ? How do we know we got the right answer?#160;What are one of the success criteria that we need to accomplish here? Janet.
- #160;sure, it's 3(5)-4=11. Since 15 minus 4 is 11, we now know we have the correct variable for X
- You have to understand and apply the rule of changing addition to subtraction, division to multiplication when moving the variables to the other side of the equals sign
