- Meeting up in areas is a great way of communication. you can talk about many things and get lots of information across to multiple people at one time.
- compare methods of controlling the spread or growth of microorganisms
- there are many ways you can control the spread or growth of microorganisms, such as sterilization, sanitation, medications and much more. many of these methods can kill cells by disrupting membranes, which can help control spreading germs through sickness.
- define disease prevention!
- so, what is disease prevention?
- disease prevention is the act or practice of completely stopping or preventing something such as a specific disease from happening or from spreading.
- define infection control
- infection control (IPC): is a practical, evidence-based approach that prevents patience from being harmed by an avoidable infection. and as a result of antimicrobial resistance.
- differentiate between medical and surgical asepsis
- medical asepsis is defined as the absence of disease- causing microorganisms. it is often referred to as clean which is more than sanitary.
- surgical asepsis is defined as the absence of all microorganisms and is often referred to as sterile.
- communicable and non communicable
- A non-communicable disease is a disease that is not transmissible directly from one person to another. they are not transferred between people or other organisms. such as, cancer, heart disease, asthma and diabetes.
- regulatory agencies
- Here is a list of different regulatory agencies that can provide more information.: FDA,Agency for Disease Control and Prevention,CDC Regulations Agency, Food and Drug Administartion.
- And a communicable disease can be transmitted from person to person or from one organism to another. Such as, Hepatitis C, influenza, and measles.
