Storyboard Text

  • Ari introduces the student to a scenario that will play out
  • Hi, I'm Ari, I'm going to show you a short scene where a junior-mid level UR sets about planning a study in a real-life example.
  • Benefits: Beginners immerse themselves in realistic situations that take place in the workplace, for URs
  • Ari plays the inexperienced UR and posts a short video, in a scenario, playing out the first part
  • I think we should start with doing a workshop to gather RQs. What questions do we want the research to answer Jim?
  • HOW does this tie in to the 'killer objectives' material?
  • Buy the course material read the material choose a scenario from the library (minimum access for free model, expanded for paid subs model) post your scenario or respond
  • Jim responds to Ari's asynchronous scenario by posting a response that will allow for either A) free feedback from anybody or B) feedback from a UR proffessional.
  • I think we should get a workshop going where we set 10 RQs, one example would be, how do we improve the quality of the service?
  • Learning pyramid - teach others by doing, receiving feedback, improving...
  • How can Jim improve his approach to RQs here?
  • On the asynchronous platform, the response was posted and feedback was given in video format (or text, or audio) by both free (anyone) and paid (UR pro)
  • [video feedback unpaid] Perhaps we need to understand the problem before we craft the RQs?
  • Teaser feedback from unpaid members (build a community of opinions and approaches - everyone loves to give their opinion!)
  • Jims 1st response PRIOR to purchasing the killer objectives course
  • Ok, I would ask what the business assumptions are that were stated by a single stakeholder and use that
  • Inexperience (benchmark) perhaps people could rate 1-10 on the students response (quant)?
  • Jims response AFTER purchasing killer objectives course AND taking in a basic understanding
  • We need to understand the business problem first (page 12 = 1 point)Q1: what does the business want to know? (page 12 Q1 = 1 point
  • Jim asked 3 key questions to understand the business problem (3/5 possible BEST answers/questions produces a score)
