  • Another fact is that the Indus was an Indiana subcontinent.
  • Welcome! Lets jump into some history. We are going to talk about the Indus Civilization. One fact is that the made oven baked bricks for houses and building.
  • Their piping system was great. They had them go underground so they weren't in everybody's way.
  • Indus people had a very well system when it came to the bathroom. Taking showers was a piece of cake. A family member would pour water over you then it would go through the drains out into the street.
  • They had two of the biggest cities in 3000 BC. Harappa Mohenjo-Daro. They built their cities off of grids. The only protection they had was just wall but sometimes people would have weapons but not very often.
  • This is the Indus Valley. People would use this every day for clean water and to water their farms. over time this river had moved because people later on would abandoned their homes but no one knew why but they thought it was because of the river over flooding and moving over.
  • Archaeologists had figured out on they ate because of their bones and teeth.
  • Women mostly worked in the fields growing, watering, and picking their crops. Farmers were key suppliers for food.
  • This is hard work.
  • Indus people had writing but no one can really understand it. They have 400 picture-signs. This wonderful civilization only lasted 200 years but you could learn so much from it.
