- This scene represents Chase falling his roof in Chapter 1. The blur effect and onomatopoeia represent the suddenness of the accident., while the shadow effect represents Chase's world turning blank. This is the first scene in the book. This is at the beginning of Chapter 1.

- This scene represents the talk with Mr. Fitzwallace when he asks Chase to use the opportunity he got from amnesia to rebuild himself as a new person. The dark colors in the room represent the gloominess of being in the principal's office. This is the first time Chase was in the Principal's office. This is at the end of Chapter 3.

- This scene represents the part when Brendan and Chase have the attempted Lunch together until Aaron and Bear showed up and went to bring Chase back to the football table. This is the first interaction between Chase and Brendan. This first shows the changed Chase trying to make friends with another person aside from Bear and Aaron. This is in Chapter 4.
- This Scene is when Chase and Brendan shot "How to Clean Your Tricycle" at The Shiny Bumper Car wash and the manager caught them. All of the cars in the background make the car wash look like it is a part of the Dealership, you can also see Brendan and Chase convincing the manager that the video was a school project and promise to put an ad on the yearbook. This is the first Youtube Video Brendan made with Chase. This is in Chapter 6.
- This scene is when Chase saves Brendan by attacking Joey in the hallway just after the pep rally for the football team. The blur on Chase represents the blur of fists on Joey. This is the first time Chase shows his inner bully and when the relationship between the football team and Chase begins to tear. This is in Chapter 10
- This scene is when Shoshanna and Chase are filming "Warrior" and are talking to Mr. Solway to get some footage. The room has an old rustic look to match the people, as you can see the photo of Soldier Solway getting the Medal of Honor in the background. This is when Shoshanna's relationship with Chase improves. This is in Chapter 14
