Storyboard Text

  • I am getting really frustrated because of my job. I'm working so hard and so are my other co-workers but we're not getting paid the amount we deserve for our hard work.
  • Oh wow that is horrible! You should protest to show your boss how you feel you and to show that your co-workers should be paid more.
  • Why would I do that? Won't I get in trouble or maybe even arrested?
  • Wow, that's amazing! I'll gather my co-workers to hold a peaceful protest to protest for a raise!
  • This First Amendment guaranteed this freedom for all American citizens. Therefore, there should not be a change for this amendment.
  • No! The 1st Amendment of the Bill of Rights states that people have freedom of speech and the right to peacefully assemble.
  • WE WORK HARD! GIVE US A RAISE! NO RAISE, NO EMPLOYEES!
  • We work hard! We deserve a raise! NO RAISE AND WE QUIT!
  • I'm very sorry ma'am but the law is the law.
  • Hello ma'am it seems you were speeding 5 mph over the speed limit. I'm have to give you a ticket.
  • Hello officer, what seems to be the issue? I'm very confused to why you pulled me over.
  • Oh I'm very sorry that I was speeding Officer, however, it was only 5 mph over the speed limit. Can't I just get a warning?
  • Your speeding fine will come to a total of $250.
  • This Eighth Amendment ensures that individuals like me are not subject to excessive fines.
  • The 8th Amendment of the Bill of Rights states excessive fines should not be imposed.
  • WHAT $250? This is outrageous! I only went 5 mph over the speed limit and you're ticketing me way too much.
  • Yes ma'am, I guess you are correct. You were barely speeding and it is an excessive fine just for 5 extra miles. I'm very sorry to disrupt your day.
  • It's okay officer. I'm so glad that the Eighth Amendment exists because it protects the rights of criminals and the accused. This amendment isn't in need for a change!
