- He is hoping that no one will be judged by their skin but by their character.
- logos
- King is saying that black or white people are equal.

- The white people have been talking bad about the black people and had come to a back marked.
- " America has given the Negro people a bad cheek, a cheek which has come back marked." " insufficient funds."
- that people are not free after 100 years.
