Storyboard Text

  • Julius Caesar walks around the streets of Rome after his victory against Pompey.(Act 1 Scene 1)
  • I won!
  • Cassius is trying to convince people to help him take down Julius Caesar.(Act 1 Scene 3)
  • If you help me kill Julius Caesar, all the things you wish for will become true . Ok I will help you
  • Casca and Cicero talk about the weather and omens.( Act 2 Scene 1)
  • Hey I think that the rule of Cesar is not going to go well since the weather has been awful and I think this is a omen of the gods and there have been sightings of a lion and slaves that have been on fire but aren't being burned and nocturnal birds at the night market.
  • I don't agree to such foolish behavior and I think that Caesars rule will just be fine.
  • Julius Caesar parades around the streets of Rome as the people of Rome take away from their work and celebrate his victory. This is important because the people of Rome were  happy but certain senators were made at the lose of a great trade country,
  • Calpurnia is having nightmares and visions of a fountain full of Julius's blood and senators smiling at it. (Act 2 Scene 2)
  • Ahhhh! I keep having visions of your death and I think you should stay home and not go to the senate Tomorrow
  • Ok! I will stay home for you
  • Don't go dear Julius as they shall try to kill you and you shall not be able to see the glimpse of day,
  • This scene is important to the story because there is a certain sign of leadership that Cassius shows and can be one of the many reasons why he tries to kill caesar as well the overall impact that having more people on his side can cause is a great resolution to look at.
  • Artemidorus warns Caesar by reading a letter and saying that if he wishes to live he should not go to the other senators today and names the ones who will try to kill him. (Act 2 Scene 3)
  • At the beginning of Act 1 Scene 3, we can hear Casca talking to Cicero and Casca is telling him that this storm is not a normal storm and that it must be an omen from the gods that Caesar will wreak chaos in Rome. He also states that there have been showings of lions walking around streets and slaves that have been on fire but aren't being burned and nocturnal birds at the night market. But to this Cicero says that he doesn't agree with this and that it is a foolish mindset and that he resides with Caesar. This indicates that he may be one of the people that is turned on by Casca and the other, for once they attack Caesar.
  • Portia meets with a soothsayer and learns of the truth and what is about to happen to Caesar but doesn't care and sends Lucius to go talk to Brutus. (Act 2 Scene 4)
  • He shall kill Julius Caesar with some other senators.
  • What will happen today with my Husband Brutus.
  • Calpurnia is having visions of a horrible sight in which Caesar's blood is in a fountain and senators are looking down upon it smiling. This is important because it is one of the many omens that were shown to Caesar and he still decides to go on that very day.
  • In this scene we get to see one of the last loyal people to Caesar try to warn him not the go but regardless of the sign Caesar still shall go and this is important to the story because no matter how hard anyone tries Caesars fate is destined.
  • This final bit of the Act is surprising because after Portia learns the truth he doesn't care and rather is more interested in talking to her husband than rather helping Caesar and this may play a role later on in the story.
