- Many factors can affect climate change... Between 1900 and 2009, the average surface temperature of the Earth rose 1.3 degrees.
- These rising temperatures have caused ice that has been frozen for a very long time to melt.
- The ice that has been melting is flowing into the oceans (Causing the elevation level to rise), but they cannot hold all of the water.
- The water that cannot be held by the oceans is flooding (A well-known concept) into cities. The ocean is transmitting water into the cities.
- Although the water is flooding cities and could destroy our industry, the lessened amount of ice could recover any specialized materials that could be useful to humankind.
