- greg heffley is about to start the three legged race with his partner
- greg finds out that the only reason they made him do that role was because he was light and could be dragged
- they started the sack race with gregs team in first but the people started slipping and falling because the forgot to take off the potatoes
- then they did the 50 yard dash and the only reason greg didn't get last was because at the start of the race some kid fell
- during the water balloon fight people realized that some kids had frozen one when one of the kids got nocked out
- the whole point of the games was to see who would get a day off and the whole school participated but the lunch ladys won so they just gave everyone a day off
