- Oh No Nag! A mongoose has moved into the garden. We will no longer rule.
- Do not worry. We will make a plan to sneak up on him while I am talking to him.
- Rikki Tikki look behind you there is a snake
- That same night, Nag went to find a cool place to rest. Then suddenly, Rikki Tikki pounced on him and killed him.
- Early that next morning Rikki Tikki went to the little cobra eggs and destroyed all but one.
- I am right here and I have destroyed all of your eggs except for this one.
- Where is Rikki Tikki? He killed my husband last night.
- Rikki Tikki follows Nagaina into her den and kills her. After she takes her egg to protect her children.
- Yesss!! I have finally killed all of the snakes. I am king of the garden. No more snakes shall ever live here.
