Phaethon
Storyboard Text
- exposition  Phaethon decides to head off to find his father Helios to prove to him that he is his father.
- rising action Phaethon finds his father and he swears on the river Styx that he will give him anything he wants to prove to him that he is Phaethon's father. Phaethon asks to drive the sun chariot.
- rising action while helios knows he will die if he tries he knows he can not abandon his oath on the Styx and so after a fierce argument is forced to comply
- Climaxwhen Phaethon begins to attempt to guide the horses everything goes wrong he goes to close to the earth and things begin to melt and then he goes to far and the earth turns to ice.
- falling action seeing that Phaethon would destroy the earth Zeus stops him by sending a lightning bolt to kill him.
- resolution Phaethon's body then falls into a river and his sisters overwhelmed with grief are turned into poplar trees by  Zeus.
