The Donkey and His Mother
Storyboard Text
- There once was a donkey who was very poor and only lived with his caring mother. The donkey wanted to be rich and wealthy, on the other hand his mother only cared about love.
- The donkey told his mother he would go to the store and buy groceries with a limited amount of money.
- At the grocery store, the donkey's eyes caught the sign saying “Want to be rich and wealthy??” Under the sign there was only a certain amount of lottery tickets that would soon be gone. The donkey couldn’t decide if he wanted to get the groceries for his health, or buy a lottery ticket with the money. The donkey decided and bought the lottery ticket.
- The donkey walked home wondering how his mother was gonna react. The donkey explained what happened and his mother didn't know how to react. The donkey scratched the lottery ticket and soon found out he won!!
- The donkey started thinking of all the things he was going to do with the money he won. He knew he needed to share with his mother, but he only gave his mother a small amount of the money. He soon moved out and bought expensive stuff. Many months later, after spending most of his money, the donkey had grown bored and fell into a deep depression. Neither his huge mansion nor his many new things made him happy anymore. He lived all by himself. He wished he never had this amount and only wanted to go back with his mother.
- The donkey soon got his energy and decided to find his mother, the donkey realized he had only given his mother a small amount and found her in the shack. He apologized to her and told her he had fallen into depression and missed his mother. The mother gave him a big hug and told him don't worry. The donkey soon sold his big mansion and moved back with his mother in the small shack. He said “Being a high amount doesn’t bring your favorites”. - Donkey
