In his story ¨Harrison Bergeron,¨ Kurt Vonnegut makes the point that society will never be perfect and flawless. In this story, everyone was finally equal which in a perfect world sounds great but, along the way, intelligence and strength had been destroyed. Because of this equality, no one had individuality. This story is also a representation on how everyone is being severely controlled by the government but it has become so normal to us that we do not even completely see that we are not fully free.
