They found many new different types of plants
Lewis and Clark were tested by the Sioux Indians and they performed a dance for them.
They also found many new animals
They used the river systems to visit many new areas to find different plants and animals.
The northwest passage
They had found 170+ types of plants,trees, shrubs, and herds that have never been recorded before.
Lewis and Clark found about 25 different types of animals like wolves.
Lewis and Clark never did find a waterway to the pacific ocean.
